Home Care

Come ho già detto ne ho cambiate molte negli anni, chi più chi meno brava, chi più chi meno simpatica com’è it is natural. Over the past two years I have had very special nurse from all points of view: Annalisa. Between us, from day one is born a strong human bond and professional. In hindsight, I should record our whole morning. There I propose one, dictated by the memory, which sums up the fantastic relationship that was created.
His arrival is already felt at home:
'E' wake up the prince? "Usually was. Sometimes I just stood up and immediately started scolding:
"Still you're sleeping?! Look, I'm busy, I have no time to lose '
"What a nightmare? I'm still sleeping? "
"Now I give you a nice bit where you feel so we see,"
"Oh lady came the hurricane, stay calm"
"I'll show me 'Stay calm,' cab forward '.
The curtain went into the bathroom and helped me take a shower, including throwing balls bath foam and water spray. Interspersed with verses and choruses of unlikely songs (from Mina to Rocky Roberts), sang.
short, a wave of positive energy and lightness that had the power to transform into beautiful even darker awakening. Psychological aspect in my view very important and it is not even remotely considered by the cooperative. Moral of the story: from one day to decide to make a change nurse for administrative reasons. So I was justified in my heartfelt phone calls. The following month there was a succession of figures sometimes embarrassing lack of preparation for the profession. I am not here to dwell on some examples, but I assure you that in fourteen years of disability a little experience I have gained. I can understand in five minutes if one can do his job or not. Eventually, the situation has almost stabilized with another nurse more or less prepared and sufficiently nice (light years away from Anna). With a disturbing news: if Anna was among the nine and a half and ten, it does not arrive before 11:00 to 11:00 and a half. For me it is a problem. I've never sat down and ready before 0:30. I ruined the whole morning making me lose basic hours to write, in addition to preclude any type of appointment (hospital, bank, market), I have to postpone the afternoon removing more precious hours to writing. I begin to call the head nurse of the co-op to solve the problem. Every time I hear that talk to the nurse and will do anything to change the time, but the music does not change a note. It will never change as she travels by bus and has so many patients before me. Can not bear to do before that time. Some exacerbated by waiting days ago, yet even at eleven forty shadow, call the cooperative. The head nurse is not there, I spend a manager: Daniele.
I explain my problem and he responds with a speech also right: there are patients who need care at specific times for insulin and other important treatments. Far be it from me to climb over people who need specific care. If there is a skill that I developed in recent years is solidarity, especially towards those who are ill. The do however note that I have a job and that there was a change important enough time (then you could leave Anna), and therefore I also needed. And 'where the speech of Daniel falls into a black hole that forced me to write this post, saying the phrases that a' responsible 'do not expect:
"She then works, goes out?"
"Yes, because?"
"You know we give assistance only to non-ambulatory." There would have been right
shamefully. All I did was give him ridiculous. In fact, the sentence is appalling incompetence and superficiality. First of all, dear Daniel, since you know that for years I get your assistance, you should also know that my condition is: complete spastic tetraplegia at C 5-6. I mean that eighty percent of the body paralyzed, I move my right arm Well, that left very badly and I have both hands paralyzed (I write with the knuckle of the little finger of right hand). Walking on a wheelchair and you, dear Daniel, I go out. It may seem strange to someone who evidently thinks, as unfortunately most people, the disabled person is such that when he is at home with mum and aunt and a cover on the legs. But I go out, live, share emotions and I enjoy it as if it more than others. You should be so sensitive as to understand the role they play. I'll tell you more, as well as write, are also a musician and music producer. Me and my wheelchair we 'wander' in on tour all over Italy, at important stages. Just think 'how strange. Besides my condition I ensuring legal assistance six days a week. It 's just my own choice who use them for only three, so I'm doing you a favor. Last thing to not forget: you've laid off the phone saying, too, that you discuss with the nurse. This democratic aspect of the employment relationship does not exist. You impose a certain amount of work your employees that if they do not make it, are free to find another job. There was one in the years that I have spoken ill of your run. All this reminds me of our government out of democratic, dictatorial inside. Now, be nice, try to come to me to meet a minimum timetable. See you soon.
